Hamdi Issac might be freed thanks to new Italian anti-terror law

Today's London's Times informs us about the intention of Antonietta Sonnessa, Hamdi Issac's lawyer, to exploit the new anti-terror law in order to get his liberation.
Lawyer Sonnessa's trial strategy implies the possibility of her client to get the status of collaborator of justice, of being "repented". That would grant him the opening of the jail gates, a permanent visa, a new identity and a new life.

Should this strategy not work, it might still be a useful tactic to extremely slow down the extradition process towards the UK, thus keeping her client in the country he loves so much that he asked not to be extradited.
